First off:
Holy damn that show was amazing! Thank you so much for making our first full band show of the year so memorable! The fact that so many of you showed up to make this new year (new to us) go off with a bang, means the world to us. Thank you so much! In the coming weeks we may even have some cool stuff for you!
But first, I’d like to share something with you…
We’re doing a lot of new things. From new arrangements of songs for our live shows, new ways of communicating, not only to you, but within the band as well (discord is neat), to new technology for our sound setup (technology is neat as heck), it’s all new! And new is exciting, but it can also be scary, daunting, and a little bit anxiety-inducing.
Granted, all change, even if it’s new, is uncomfortable, but that’s okay! I’m here to be uncomfortable.
So…
(Here’s where I Get uncomfortable)
…I’ll start this off with this. I appreciate you a hell of a lot. Like, the fact you opened the email, clicked the button to get to this page, and are now reading this is mind blowing. And to me you’re not just a way to make money. I’m not here to take from you, but with all of these new things we’re doing, and moving forward with, and just the fact that everything in life is costing more, the costs to pursue the band are going up.
With all of that being said, I’d like to share something else with you:
Since the show on Saturday was so special, being the first show of the year, we decided to do something new for the show: We, with the help of our friends, Chris Ventura (Who designed it), and one of my closest friends, Tyler Reed (Who screen printed it), we made a one of a kind, screen printed poster for the show!
Now, we started with 20 of these hand-numbered bois, but we’re down to 11! So I thought we’d extend the offer we ran at the show to you!
You’ll also get a copy of our album “Call Me Jonah” for free! We have never printed a physical copy of this album, so to make these first 100 special, each copy is hand-numbered.
